Buzz Bakeshop: This bakery is offering specially designed eclipse cookies — bright yellow-orange sun, partially blocked by a deep-blue moon — for $4. They’re going for just $1.50 if purchased with a red eye coffee drink (dubbed “Shot in the Dark” for the occasion. Dairy Queen: The nationwide chain is offering BOGO Blizzards — buy one, get a second for $0.99. It starts Monday, but runs through September 3. Multiple locations

Door Dash: Open the Door Dash app and head to The Eclipse Cookie Store for a free half moon cookie on Monday, from 2pm-4pm. Multiple locations

DNV Rooftop: This rooftop bar will offer an extended happy hour on Monday, from 1pm until 7pm. To celebrate the eclipse, there will be a DJ, viewfinders and kaleidoscopes. 1155 14th St. NW

Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown: The hotel is getting in on the festivities for hours on end, from 11am until 12am, Monday, in the spot’s courtyard. Food and drink specials include $5 Blue Moon and Corona beers, a special eclipse-themed cocktail with Mount Gay Eclipse Rum and bitters, and oatmeal raisin moon pies. Everyone there during the actual eclipse will get a pair of glasses to wear for safe viewing. 2401 M St. NW

The Front Porch at Evening Star Cafe: The restaurant will open at 12 noon on Monday, with a special eclipse cocktail — tequila and aperol — plus boozy slushies and a small selection of small eats. 2006 Mt Vernon Ave., Alexandria


The Graham Georgetown: This G-town hotel is celebrating the eclipse on its rooftop from 1pm-3pm on Monday afternoon, with $5 Tequila Sunrise drinks and free “moonshine moonshot” shooters at the time of the eclipse (2:30pm.) 1075 Thomas Jefferson St. NW

Lincoln’s Bar-B-Que: This Silver Spring’s starting their eclipse celebration early — starting Saturday — by offering a “Solar Eclipse shake.” The cold treat is a chocolate shake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles and orange M&Ms. It’s all topped with whipped cream and an a moon-shaped ice cream sandwich. 931 Ellsworth Dr., Silver Spring

Logan Tavern: Until Monday, grab the “Total Eclipse of the (Oak)heart” drink, which brings together brown butter Bacardi oakheart rum, simple syrup, bitters, and a cherry/orange peel garnish. It’s going for $10. 1423 P St. NW

POV Bar at The W Hotel: This rooftop bar will have two cocktail specials, both with Mount Gay Eclipse — the “Harvest Moon” with Cointreau, tangerine juice and rosemary, and the “Total Eclipse” with watermelon, agave syrup and cilantro. 515 15th St. NW

Radiator: This bar is once again taking over the Kimpton Mason & Rock Hotel rooftop — and this Monday it’s starting at 1pm. Specials include select $5 beers, select $6 wines and $7 orange crushes and frozen drinks. 1430 Rhode Island Ave. NW

Top of the Gate: The Watergate Hotel rooftop bar will open at 1pm on Monday, and will offer two eclipse-themed cocktails: the “Eclipse Manhattan” with bourbon, vermouth and bitters, and the “Eclipse Pico” which is garnished with a black orange ring. 2650 Virginia Ave. NW
